The former butler also says the Prince of Wales won’t listen to one thing – and that’s “background noise” – with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex perhaps now falling into that category.
He added: “William won’t take any more cheap shots from across the Atlantic. He doesn’t care anymore.”
“He doesn’t listen to the noise in the background – and that’s what Harry and Meghan have become.”

Princess Diana left young William red-faced with embarrassment after he developed a crush
Princess Diana was well known for her playful nature, once arranging a surprise for her sons that left Prince William so stunned he tumbled down the stairs. The late Princess was particularly mischievous when it came to her sons, Princes William and Harry.
In a 2017 programme marking two decades since her tragic death in a Paris car crash, Prince Harry reminisced about his mother’s “childish” side and how she loved having fun with her boys. “That sort of childish, fun element really came out when she was spending time with us,” he shared on Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy.
Diana enjoyed teasing her sons, and on one occasion, she organised an extra special surprise for William, knowing it would likely embarrass the young prince. As many boys at that time did, William had posters of supermodels like Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, and Christy Turlington adorning his walls.

Everyone is saying the same thing about Meghan Markle’s white ESPY Awards dress
Meghan Markle put her best fashion foot forward alongside her award-winning husband, Prince Harry, to grace the ESPY Awards in style at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California on July 11.
Fans of the Duchess of Sussex could not contain their joy at seeing Meghan in a “classic” and “simple” dress, with eagle-eyed viewers noting it looked very similar to her wedding reception dress previously designed by Stella McCartney.
Meghan, 42, dressed up for the awards date night wearing a custom, floor-length, white halter gown by Oscar de la Renta (as confirmed by People Magazine), paired with black strappy sandals. She was also spotted wearing a Rodi Cassandra gold and diamond loop ring on her hand.

Princess Charlotte’s cheeky three-word swipe to reporters at Prince Louis’s christening
Princess Charlotte was just three years old when her younger brother Prince Louis was christened at the Chapel Royal in St James’s Palace in July 2018, but she was old enough to make it clear she didn’t want the media around.
She and her older brother Prince George were filmed walking out of the chapel hand in hand with Prince William, as Princess Kate cradled her newborn son.
As the family made their way to the christening party from the ceremony, Charlotte turned to the waiting cameras and was heard cheekily making this three-word remark: “You’re not coming”.
Afterwards in the clip, William can be seen smirking slightly as his young daughter confirms to the press that they are not welcome at the private family event.

Prince Harry gives emotional nod to Diana and sends direct message to veteran’s angry mom
Prince Harry gave a nod to his late mother during an emotional acceptance speech at the 2024 ESPY Awards.
He has faced an intense backlash for receiving the ESPN award in honor of a fallen soldier and NFL player, with some warning it is “exceptionally bad publicity”.
But Harry ignored the critics as he picked up the honor, which was to recognize his work with the Invictus Games, as a beaming Meghan Markle looked on from the audience.
