OMG! Travis & Taylor were escorted by a motorcade for a dinner date in Gelsenkirchen

Pop superstar Taylor Swift and her NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce were escorted to dinner by a motorcade after the end of Swift’s concert tour.

The couple enjoyed a romantic dinner at a local restaurant in Gelsenkirchen, continuing their exploration of European culture and cuisine.

Swift and Kelce were seen holding hands and hugging as they left the Veltins-Arena Stadium, cheered on by thousands of fans.

The passionate crowd surrounding their exit prompted the couple to request police assistance to safely leave the stadium.

The owner of the restaurant expressed their delight to NFL reporters, saying, “We were honored that she and her boyfriend chose to host their Friday night party here.” Swift, dressed in comfortable sportswear and a baseball cap after her performance, and Kelce, in a casual black and green checkered polo shirt and a baseball cap, were excited to try local dishes. They are making the most of their time together before Kelce returns to the United States to rejoin the Kansas City Chiefs for training on July 21st.

Kelce recently reunited with Swift in Gelsenkirchen after participating in the 35th American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament in Lake Tahoe, California, alongside his brother Jason Kelce. During the tournament, Kelce showed off his dancing talents, delighting fans by dancing to Swift’s hit song “Shake It Off” on the 17th hole. His rhythmic head shaking and synchronized hand raising during the chorus captivated the audience.

Adding to the charm of the tournament, Kelce’s infectious energy and impromptu dance performances, including to “Down Bad” by the Tortured Poets, brought a light-hearted touch to the competitive atmosphere.

In another recent highlight, Brittany Mahomes shared a double date photo with Taylor Swift, Patrick Mahomes, and Travis Kelce. The couples were spotted enjoying Swift’s concert in Amsterdam, with Brittany and Patrick seen sharing a sweet moment during Swift’s song “Lover.” Brittany later shared her experience and photos of their European trip on Instagram, including stops in southern Spain, Switzerland, and England, where they attended the Wimbledon Tennis Championship.

Swift recently wrapped up two shows in Milan, Italy, and expressed her gratitude to her fans on Instagram, captioning her post, “Wow, Milan, those were truly two of my favorite crowds ever. The passion and generosity you showed us was a dream come true to perform for you. Grazie mille, we’ll be back.”

As their relationship continues to thrive, Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid shared his insights on why Swift and Kelce work so well together. Reid believes their relationship provides an escape for both of them. “He can handle it. I think there’s a great escape for him,” Reid said on The Athletic’s Scoop City Podcast. “I said that about Taylor too. I mean, she comes to the game, she can kind of escape having to be the show. And when he goes to her concerts, she’s the star, and he can be hanging out there and be the support or the water boy.”

Kelce, who has been following Swift through Europe during her tour, even made a surprise onstage cameo at Wembley Stadium in London. When asked if he would make another cameo, Kelce played coy, stating, “I can’t let anything out of the bag, but right now I’m in full football mode after golf.”

Despite his love for Swift’s music, Kelce admitted he was out of his comfort zone performing on stage. “I’m not big on going on stages. There were a lot of people out there. It really didn’t feel at home,” he said on his podcast, New Heights.

Swift has embraced her role as a Chiefs fan, attending 13 games last season, including the Super Bowl, where Kansas City clinched the championship. Kelce, 34, is set to return to the Chiefs for his 12th season after signing a new two-year, $34.25 million deal this offseason. Despite speculation about his retirement, Kelce remains committed to his football career while balancing his high-profile relationship with Swift.
