As Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce returned to training camp, fans quickly noticed the reappearance of his iconic mustache.
The 34-year-old football star, who sported this look when he first met pop superstar Taylor Swift, remarked on the significance of the style.
“Man, the mustache is starting to disappear, but I’ll tell you what, that stash with the 87 jersey was pretty iconic for a bit. I had it when I met Taylor for the first time, so I guess it’s kind of special. Maybe I’ll wear a bracelet or something, who knows,” Kelce said with a smile.
Last year, the romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce captivated global audiences. Kelce was often seen in the VIP suites at Swift’s Eras Tour, while Swift attended 13 Chiefs games during the 2023 season, including their Super Bowl 58 victory in Las Vegas.
As they approach their one-year anniversary, Kelce has returned to the look that Swift loves. He made it back to Chiefs camp just in time after attending two of Swift’s concerts in Gelsenkirchen, Germany earlier this week. On Sunday, Kelce walked into the Chiefs’ base at Missouri Western State University for the first full day of camp, proudly sporting his signature mustache. Fans in St. Joseph, Missouri, were quick to notice the return of his famous look, even when he jokingly covered it with his finger.
Kelce’s dedication to both his team and his relationship with Swift continues to win over fans from both the football and music worlds. As the new season approaches, the excitement builds to see what Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will achieve next.
