Jason & Kylie Kelce pose Humorously for a photo with team USA play hockey at the Olympics

Jason Kelce, former Philadelphia Eagles center, and his wife Kylie Kelce were spotted enjoying the Olympic spirit in Paris on Saturday.

The couple humorously posed for a photo with Team USA, cheering on the USA Women’s field hockey team in their opening game.

Jason sported a blue beret matching his USA t-shirt, fully embracing the Olympic ambiance. Kylie, who has a background in field hockey, enthusiastically supported the team and even created a TikTok with a couple of US players. With Jason’s recent retirement, the timing was perfect for the couple to make the trip to Paris for the games.

“I’ve always wanted to come and see the Olympic Games,” Kylie told reporters after the United States lost 4-1 to medal-favored Argentina. “When they qualified to come to Paris, I was like, that kind of makes sense. And then when I got to sit down with Ashley and Khi, it was kind of a no-brainer through and through. It made sense, and we’re happy to be here.”Kylie Kelce talks life in the spotlight with Jason Kelce, NFL playoffs and more - Good Morning America

Jason echoed her sentiments, noting that while he would have loved to attend the Olympics in the past, the summer games often conflicted with NFL training camp. His brother, Travis Kelce, is currently in mid-camp with the back-to-back defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, while his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, is on her European tour in Munich.

“When we found out that we were going to have an opportunity to go to this, the more we thought about it, we were like, let’s take advantage of it now that we can actually do it,” Jason said. “We love sports, we love competition, we love world events. This is such a unique place where the entire world gets to come together and bond over competition and sports.”

Jason’s NFL career and Kylie’s background as a defender in field hockey have made them familiar with high-level competition. Kylie joked about her TikTok experience with US players Ashley Sessa and Khila Page, admitting she felt embarrassed but found the experience worthwhile. “It was just really cool to sit down and talk with them about what this means to them, how they’ve looked forward to it, and what it took for them to get here. It is so amazing to see them on this stage,” Kylie said.

Sessa, who scored the lone US goal, praised Kylie as “one of the coolest people” she has ever met. “Meeting Kylie was an amazing experience. To meet someone who also shares the same passion to grow the game was great. She has an amazing heart and is down to earth,” Sessa told the AP.

After witnessing the game, Jason had high praise for the young US team. “They played hard. They’re a young team, and they played arguably the best team in the world,” he said. “It was a fun game to watch, and I’m proud of the girls for how hard they fought.”

As for the beret, Jason revealed it was a simple souvenir shop find, adding a touch of humor to their Olympic adventure.
