Travis & Jason Kelce sets staggering $100M price tag for rights to New Heights podcast

Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end, is reportedly seeking a massive payout for the “New Heights” podcast he co-hosts with his brother, NFL legend Jason Kelce.

The podcast has soared in popularity since Travis Kelce’s relationship with music icon Taylor Swift began last summer.

Networks are now vying to secure the rights to the podcast, with the Kelce brothers seeking a contract in the range of $100 million or more.

Representatives for the Kelce brothers have reportedly been in talks with the podcast network Wondery, which is owned by Amazon. “New Heights” has become the number one podcast in the United States, further boosting its value.Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce Talk Playing Each Other in the Super Bowl

Travis Kelce, 34, has been a standout tight end in the NFL, helping the Chiefs win three Super Bowls, two of which came in the last two seasons. His brother Jason retired in March after a distinguished 13-season career with the Philadelphia Eagles, during which he won a Super Bowl and made seven Pro Bowls.

The brothers launched the “New Heights” podcast in September 2022, discussing a variety of topics, including NFL news and personal anecdotes. Earlier this month, the Kelce brothers announced they would be taking a break from their podcasting schedule due to Travis’s commitments with the Chiefs. “All that means to me is we’ve got a nice couple of months off from podcasting,” Jason said during the season two finale on July 3. “In three weeks’ time, Travis will be in the middle of training camp, and let me tell you, there’s not enough time to do a podcast, especially the best podcast in the world.”

In April, Travis Kelce signed a two-year, $34 million contract extension with the Chiefs, making him the highest-paid tight end in the league. Meanwhile, Jason Kelce is set to begin his role as an analyst on ESPN’s Monday Night Football in September. There is also speculation that he may be eyeing a coaching role within the Eagles organization.

As the Kelce brothers continue to make waves both on and off the field, the potential deal for “New Heights” underscores their growing influence in the sports and entertainment world. Fans eagerly await the return of their beloved podcast and the next chapter in the Kelce brothers’ illustrious careers.
