“I don’t even know why it’s a story at this point,” Jason remarked, underscoring how integral this footwear has become to his image.
When Travis, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, inquired if Jason had been wearing the same pair for a decade, Jason clarified, “I broke one pair of them. These are really quality sandals, so they lasted for a long time. These ones right here are probably two years old, but I had the initial pair before that for easily over a decade. They had some miles on them.”
Jason’s flip-flops are from OluKai, a Hawaiian company renowned for its high-quality sandals and footwear, which provide arch support and comfort. “It’s not just like a piece of flat foam,” Jason noted, emphasizing the functional benefits of his preferred sandals.
As the conversation continued, Travis found humor in his brother’s attention to style. “I just didn’t think you cared about them looking nice, that’s all,” Travis admitted. Jason responded, “If it’s functional and high quality and it looks good, I’m all for it.”

He also took a break from football to visit Disney World with his young family during the NFL’s Pro Bowl games in Orlando.
