In a shocking turn of events at the Morgan Wallen concert held at Arrowhead Stadium, a man has been charged with making terroristic threats. The targets of these threats were none other than Kansas City Chiefs stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.
The incident unfolded on Friday night when Kelce and Mahomes made a special appearance on stage to introduce Wallen.
According to Just Jared, it was during this high-profile moment that a tweet surfaced, alarming the police officers responsible for the event’s security.
Although the tweet explicitly mentioned Kelce and Mahomes, the official statement from prosecutors refrained from naming the players, referring to them only as “two members of the Chiefs organization.”

Jean Peters Baker, Jackson County Prosecutor, identified the accused as Aaron Brown from Winchester, Illinois. The tweet was spotted by the police, who were vigilantly monitoring social media for potential threats during the concert. Brown, who attended the event with his girlfriend, confirmed his location to the authorities upon being contacted.

“Officers were monitoring threats at a planned concert when they observed on X (Twitter) a threat against two individuals, who were members of the Kansas City Chiefs organization, were present at the event,” Baker stated. “The defendant confirmed to police where he was located at Arrowhead. The concert was delayed for 40 minutes while the defendant was located.”
Following his arrest, Brown deleted the tweet and admitted to the police that it was a “stupid, stupid, stupid mistake.” His girlfriend reportedly advised him against posting the tweet, but Brown dismissed her concerns, believing no one would notice it.

Patrick Mahomes, who attended the concert with his wife Brittany, and Travis Kelce, currently dating pop star Taylor Swift, were both present at the venue during the incident. Swift, however, was in Europe for her Eras Tour and did not attend the concert.
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the potential consequences of reckless behavior on social media. The swift response from law enforcement highlights the seriousness with which such threats are treated, ensuring the safety of all attendees at large public events. As this case progresses, it underscores the importance of responsible online conduct and the vigilance of security forces in maintaining public safety.
