Taylor Swift continues to be the supportive girlfriend to Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, with the superstar singer taking to the kitchen to whip up a home-cooked meal for her beau after a strenuous day of training camp.
On Monday, August 12th, the 34-year-old tight end returned to his Kansas home after a morning of practice with his teammates, only to be greeted by the comforting sight of Taylor Swift, 34, cooking in his kitchen.
The couple, who have been enjoying each other’s company since Swift returned from Europe, have been spending a lot of quality time together, and Monday was no exception.
Swift, known for her chart-topping hits and electrifying performances, also happens to have a passion for cooking. After Kelce returned home, she decided to surprise him with a homemade meal. According to sources close to the couple, Swift was seen stirring dough and baking waffles for her boyfriend, a gesture that Kelce was quick to share with his close circle of friends and family.
Kelce’s best friend, who goes by the nickname “Boss,” shared a photo of Swift in action, which was taken in Kelce’s kitchen. The image shows the “Anti-Hero” singer with a focused expression as she works on preparing the meal, highlighting a more domestic side of the global superstar.
The couple, who have been together for over a year, have often been spotted enjoying romantic outings, such as a recent visit to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ home, as well as an intimate dinner on Sunday night. However, with Kelce’s demanding training schedule, the pair didn’t have time to go out on Monday, leading Swift to bring the date night to their home instead.
While Kelce has remained relatively private about their cooking adventures, he previously hinted at some of Swift’s culinary specialties. When asked about his favorite dish to make with his girlfriend, the NFL star playfully avoided specifics but couldn’t help but praise Swift’s Pop-Tarts and cinnamon rolls. Kelce later mentioned that Swift’s baking skills are not only enjoyed by him but also by others in the NFL community.
In February, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid shared that Swift once made homemade Pop-Tarts for the team, and retired NFL player Bernie Kosar recalled how she prepared cinnamon rolls for Kelce before one of his games.
Swift also provided fans with a glimpse into her and Kelce’s kitchen dynamic earlier this year. In April, she included a short clip in a YouTube Shorts video, where Kelce is seen kissing her on the cheek as she stirs a pot of stew. The same video also featured her frosting a plate of cinnamon rolls, showcasing her baking prowess.
As Swift prepares to head to London for the final leg of her European tour at Wembley Stadium, Kelce will continue his rigorous training schedule. With another preseason game scheduled for August 17th, it’s clear that both stars are balancing their demanding careers with their blossoming relationship.
Whether on stage or off, it seems Taylor Swift has found another way to win hearts—this time, through her cooking.
