Jason Kelce has dived into the world of acting following his NFL retirement – and his wife Kylie is a tough critic.
The couple teamed up for a new Wawa commercial, which features Kylie directing Jason and giving the ex-Eagles center some tough love on set.
In a version of the ad shared with PEOPLE, Kylie can be seen sitting in a director’s chair as she barks instructions at her husband.
More emotion J, like you mean it!,’ she says.
A behind-the-scenes look at the ad was also posted to Wawa and Kylie’s Instagram pages, in which she can be seen saying ‘I feel like you could do better.’

A press release accompanying the ad mentions that Jason and Kylie – who grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs – are longtime fans of the local-favorite chain.
As the ad touches on, Jason has more time to be home and around his family after wrapping up a stellar NFL career.
He played 13 seasons with the Eagles – winning one Super Bowl along the way – before hanging up his cleats last March.
Kelce will now be able to focus more of his energy into his and Kylie’s daughters Wyatt Elizabeth, 4, Elliotte Ray, 3, and Bennett Llewellyn, 1

The former offensive lineman will also be starting a new gig on ESPN’s Monday Night Football broadcasts.
Kylie previously spoke to PEOPLE about her husband’s new role, saying she was ‘excited to see Jason excel in a new position.
‘I jokingly say it’s a pain in the butt that he’s good at everything, and I know I’m biased in that, but I truly believe he’s good at everything because even if he’s not good at the start or the best at the start he will work endlessly and tirelessly until he can achieve that,’ she went on.
‘So, I have full faith that he’s going to tackle his new position and excel.’
