Travis Kelce’s Father, Ed Kelce, Claims He’s ‘Banned for Life’ from X Platform Over Controversial Post

In a surprising turn of events, Ed Kelce, the father of Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, revealed that he has been permanently banned from the X social media platform.

This announcement came after Ed Kelce criticized the platform over a report related to arms dealers in Yemen, which he shared on his Facebook page.

The report, originating from The Times in London, claimed that arms dealers in the war-torn country were selling weapons on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, and appeared to be operating in the capital of Sanaa, an area controlled by the Houthis.

Ed Kelce expressed his frustration with the platform, stating, “Arms dealers are free to peddle their wares on X, but I’m banned for life, and they won’t say why, just a generic ‘Terms Of Service’ violation.” His comments highlight his confusion and dissatisfaction with the lack of transparency regarding the ban. The social media company, X, has not commented on the specific reasons for Ed Kelce’s ban.

Ed Kelce’s presence on social media has been a topic of interest, especially since his son, Travis, mentioned on a podcast episode of “Bussin with the Boys” that his father frequently sees rumors and false posts about him and Taylor Swift on Facebook. Travis humorously recounted how his father would come across wild rumors and check in with him to ensure everything was okay. “He’ll see some wild stuff and be like, ‘What the f— is this?’” Travis shared, showing the playful and candid relationship between the father and son.

Despite the ban from X, Ed Kelce remains active on other social media platforms, continuing to engage with fans and share his thoughts. The Kelce family is gearing up for the 2024 NFL season, with the Kansas City Chiefs set to begin their title defense on September 5 against the Baltimore Ravens. As the new season approaches, the spotlight on the Kelce family, especially Travis and his dynamic presence both on and off the field, is expected to intensify.
