Brittany Mahomes and her daughter are showing their support for Patrick Mahomes.
On Thursday, Sept. 5, the Kansas City Current co-owner, 28, showed off her 3-year-old daughter Sterling Skye’s adorable outfit as the mother-daughter duo cheered on her Kansas City Chiefs quarterback husband, 29.
In a boomerang posted to the soon-to-be mom of three’s Instagram Story, Sterling can be seen rocking a little red dress that has “Chiefs” embroidered on the front in yellow, cursive letters. Brittany smiles big beside her as they cheer from the stands at the NFL 2024 season opener at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
Prior to the game, spectators were asked to shelter in place due to a strong but brief storm that passed over the stadium, delaying kickoff by 20 minutes. As the storm rolled through, Brittany documented her and Sterling with Chiefs towels wrapped around their heads to protect themselves from the rain.
In the video shared on her Instagram Story, Brittany tells the camera, “We’re surviving,” as her little one smiles softly at the camera.
The couple shares Sterling, as well as son Patrick “Bronze”, 21 months, and a third child on the way. Last week, Brittany opened up about how her current pregnancy has affected her daily routine as a mom of two.
She shared that the couple is “excited to have another little kiddo running around our house causing chaos,” and the model shared her secret to managing her pregnancy sleep schedule while parenting her two little ones.
“I need naps,” Brittany admitted. “So I like to work my naps into my schedule now, because when you’re pregnant you’re tired.”
She continued to explain how making sure she gets her naps in has become increasingly difficult as she adds more children to her family.
“With the first pregnancy, it was just me. So I could take naps, sleep all day, you know, I had nothing priority for me to do,” Brittany explained. “Then, with Bronze, it was like, ‘Well, I have to take care of this kid but I’m tired,’ so I would just nap when she napped.”
She continued, “Now I have two kids to take care of, but they do nap at the same time, so I’m able to nap with them. But I am definitely a little bit more tired. Some days I wake up and I’m feeling absolutely horrible.”
