The 2024 National Football League season is now in full swing, which means bettors have hundreds of options for every single game on the slate.
That includes NFL anytime TD scorer odds, which are among the most popular markets at NFL betting sites every week.
Below, we break down our favorite Week 2 NFL anytime TD picks to consider for this week’s Sunday slate:
NFL Week 2 Anytime touchdown scorer picks, including Travis Kelce props
Dak Prescott threw one touchdown in the win over the Browns and that was to Brandin Cooks. But still, CeeDee Lamb led the team with 10 targets and is going to see the lion’s share of looks from his QB, meaning it’s just a matter of time until he finds paydirt. Once he does, the price will likely be steeper than this, especially when Dallas plays at home or against a team it should overpower.
Last season, Lamb finished with 12 scores but didn’t get one all of September. We see that changing on Sunday against New Orleans, which is yet to face an offense capable of actually moving the ball.
The game’s best tight end was not much of a factor in Week 1, hauling in just three passes and watching his teammates do most of the heavy lifting. While the offense for Kansas City is pretty fluid and can receive contributions from plenty of sources, Kelce is still a massive piece to the puzzle.
After catching just four passes in Week 1 a season ago, Kelce grabbed seven catches in Week 2 and scored a touchdown. The numbers for the Bengals defense were fine last week despite the loss, but we’re willing to take plus money for a player who we often see with a worse line than this to score.
Since 2022, no running back has rushed for more scores in the red zone than Derrick Henry (22 and counting), and he also scored in his Ravens debut against Kansas City last week. It comes as no surprise that Henry is the biggest favorite to score in this game at -180, which is a steep price. But consider that Antonio Pierce’s defense could be spread a bit thin trying to bottle up Lamar Jackson in the red zone, opening up opportunities for Tractorcito.
Henry did notch the first touchdown the game last week so if you’re concerned with the price and want something more palatable, take King Henry to score the first TD at +320 or to score twice at +310.
The Jets’ offense wasn’t exactly sharp in Week 1 on Monday night, but they were also going against San Francisco on the road in Aaron Rodgers’ first game in over a year. Despite some of the struggles, there were flashes of Gang Green moving the ball and it’s clear that Rodgers’ favorite target is Garrett Wilson (11 targets and six receptions).
New York is on the road again in Week 2 against a solid Titans defense, but it’s tough to ignore a +175 line for a clear-cut No. 1 receiver in a game where his team is likely the better team.
The Houston Texas ran wild on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1, notching over 200 rushing yards and a touchdown to Joe Mixon. At the same time, Jacobs averaged over five yards per carry in his Packers’ debut in Brazil, totaling 84 yards.
With Jacobs at +115 to score this week, we’re willing to take a leap that Jacobs finds paydirt for his new team in their home opener.
