Amidst the preparations for facilitating Hamilton’s Grand arrival to Maranello, Leclerc pointed out that the Briton was still focused on his duties as a Silver Arrow.

Despite the enticing battle in the 2024 season between Mercedes and Ferrari, Charles Leclerc has already started building a good relationship with Hamilton. The 26-year-old revealed that the two talked not only about racing but also about their communal passion apart from the sport.
We don’t only speak about racing but also with everything that is around, actually since the announcement with Ferrari we spoke a lot more about our communal passion outside of racing rather than racing itself.

The reason for this was that Hamilton was still loyal to his Mercedes duties in the ongoing 2024 season. Leaving Brackley after almost 12 years of racing together would definitely not be easy for the seven-time world champion. Additionally, Leclerc claimed that he was focused on his duties as a Ferrari driver as well.
Because he is still 200% focused on his season with Mercedes and myself on Ferrari.
