F1 Academy managing director Susie Wolff has praised Lewis Hamilton for his journey in the sport so far. Hamilton is now set to join Ferrari in 2025 after spending 12 glorious championship-winning years with Mercedes.

Lewis Hamilton is often regarded as one of the greatest motorsport drivers. He has been a role model both on and off the track, advocating for social issues such as racism and equality. Hamilton has amassed seven world championships along with a record 105 wins since his debut in 2007.

Wolff has talked highly of Hamilton’s work ethic and dedication to being the very best in Formula 1. She also stated that the 39-year-old would look iconic when he dons the colors of the Maranello-based team next year.

Despite being on a poor run of form this year, Hamilton has secured wins in Spa and Silverstone. He will now hope for a change in fortunes as he looks to end his Mercedes stint on a high.

Lewis Hamilton shows concern for the rising costs of getting to Formula 1

Formula 1 and racing in general are considered to be one of the most financially intensive career options. Many people are often unable to afford the costs that come with racing as well as the competitiveness of the sport.

Lewis Hamilton has stated that the costs of getting into Formula 1 have risen by more than two to three times from a decade or two ago. The 39-year-old said that he would not have been able to afford racing if it weren’t for McLaren and Mercedes.

Hamilton expressed concern for the ever-rising costs and said there was a need for subsidization of the current rates. He believes that in doing so, more young talents can partake and showcase their skills to become future F1 drivers.
