Ferrari boss Fred Vasseur asserted that Lewis Hamilton was not going to treat his stint at Maranello as a vacation next season.
Scuderia Ferrari successfully managed to sign Lewis Hamilton for the 2025 season. Maranello had been in talks with the Briton in the past, but the two couldn’t ever pen an agreement.
Now, Ferrari boss Fred Vasseur has revealed how Hamilton agreed to join the Prancing Horse.
The Frenchman highlighted that getting Lewis Hamilton on board was not that difficult. Fred Vasseur emphasized that the 39-year-old had always thought of potentially racing for the Italian team in Formula 1. Subsequently, the stars finally aligned earlier this year when Hamilton signed a multi-year deal with the Scuderia.
It was not difficult in reality, Ferrari in some ways has always been in its thoughts and now the stars have aligned themselves.

Scuderia Ferrari fell behind Red Bull and McLaren in the title fight this season. However, Charles Leclerc still sits third in the standings, with an outside chance for the title. Ferrari boss Fred Vasseur declared that the Scuderia will keep pushing in the last six races to get the best possible results to see where it can stand by the season finale in Abu Dhabi.
There are six races, everything is still possible, we must continue pushing and in the end we will see where we will be.

Certainly, a solid end to the 2024 season would be a morale boost not just for Ferrari, but even Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time world champion would be happy if he saw the Italian team end the season on a high note. However, a lot will depend on the team’s development over the winter for its 2025 performance.
