Princess Kate is seen as the epitome of grace and charm during her royal duties. She is known for her smiles during conversations at royal engagements or representing the crown on demanding tours abroad.

However, a royal expert has suggested that there’s an aspect of these overseas tours that poses an emotional challenge for Kate.

According to author and royal expert Katie Nicholl, who has accompanied William and Kate on several tours, the Princess of Wales finds it particularly hard to be away from her three children – Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six – for long periods.
