Princess Anne reportedly offered Meghan Markle some straightforward advice when she joined the royal family, emphasizing that being royal is more than a title—it’s a job.

According to royal expert Neil Sean, when Meghan sought guidance from Anne, she was met with no-nonsense wisdom.

Princess Anne, known for her tireless dedication to royal duties, explained that the role involves showing up, doing the work, and staying out of the spotlight.

She emphasized the importance of being punctual, well-prepared, and focused on representing the monarchy rather than seeking personal attention.

Anne’s advice also touched on the importance of genuinely committing to the charities one supports. She stressed that it’s not just about being affiliated with causes, but truly getting involved and immersing oneself in the work. Meghan reportedly left this conversation feeling a bit surprised by the frank approach.

“According to a very good source, Meghan Markle failed to warm to Princess Anne. And Princess Anne always knew that Meghan would have a very short shelf-life in the world of the British monarchy,” Sean concluded.

The Duchess of Sussex eventually decided not to follow Anne’s advice, as she found her brief tenure as a working senior royal to be troubling. She would go on to recount her experiences when she sat down with Oprah Winfrey, along with her husband, Prince Harry, in an explosive March 2021 interview.

As The Royal Observer previously reported, Meghan got very candid in the question and answer session when it came to her mental health. “I just didn’t see a solution; I don’t understand how all of this is being churned out — again, I wasn’t seeing it, but it’s worse when you see it through your mom [and] friends,” she told the influential media mogul.

“It was all happening because I was breathing. Look, I was really ashamed to say it at the time and ashamed to have to admit to [Prince] Harry, especially because I know how much loss he’s suffered, but I knew that if I didn’t say it, I would do it, and I just didn’t — I didn’t want to be alive anymore,” the Duchess confessed.

It’s been a very long time since anyone has heard the words Kate Middleton, Prince William and ‘divorce’ in the same sentence.

In fact, a lot of people believe that the Prince and Princess of Wales are as strong as ever and that might have given Meghan Markle a reason to be jealous over their marriage.

While it seems like there are endless reports each week about the state of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage, the same can’t be said about William and Kate.

A lot of people noticed that when Kate Middleton released her video announcing that she had completed her chemotherapy treatments, she and Prince William certainly showed off a lot of public displays of affection which is something they’ve never done before.

Not only that, but the future king of England has also cut back on his workload so he can be there for his wife while she deals with the biggest health battle she’s ever had to deal with in her life.

For the Duchess of Sussex, she can’t help but feel envious of the fact that William and Kate do genuinely look happy together while her own husband Prince Harry always looks like he wants to stay at least ten feet away from her.

Meghan – Wants A Happy Marriage Again

While no one knows what Harry and Meghan are going through behind closed doors, a lot of people think that their body language is doing all the talking for them. They certainly look happier when they are apart than when they are together.

Also, Meghan Markle can’t help but feel envious because her marriage doesn’t look nearly as good as William and Kate’s does right now. At least from the outside looking in.
