On Saturday in San Salvador, El Salvador, Miss Nicaragua Sheynnis Palacios, Miss Thailand Antonia Porsild,

and Miss Australia Moraya Wilson were announced as the top three finalists for Miss Universe 2023.

Each of the three women had a unique gown embellished with pearls, rhinestones, and sequins.

Miss Thailand embraced the sheer trend with a Myriad Monde gown adorned with crystals and star-shaped beading. Alin Le’ Kal designed the cream corset dress that Miss Australia wore, decorated with a star motif made of crystals. The winner, Miss Nicaragua, wore a gown adorned with crystal and pearls, revealing shoulder embellishments, and nude crystal-encrusted gloves. The outfit honored the flag of Nicaragua.

Palacios was given a crown by Mouawad, which has been the Miss Universe organization’s official jeweler since 2019. The first runner-up was Porsild from Thailand.
The Miss Universe organization debuted its first collaboration merchandise collection on November 15 for preorder on missunivere.com, and the contestants wore swimwear created by Rubin Singer.

The Miss Universe pageant debuted a skincare line this summer that features botanicals from all seven continents and is geared toward ladies from a variety of backgrounds.

The Miss Universe organization did away with the competition’s age restriction of 28 years old in 2023, which brought about several significant changes to the event. In addition, this was a historic year because it saw the pageant accept two transgender contestants, a plus-size model, and mothers.

Contestants from 86 different countries vied for the title of Miss Universe 2023, hoping to unseat R’Bonney Gabriel. At the ceremony, singer John Legend performed. The hosts for the evening were Maria Menounos, Olivia Culpo, and Jeannie Mai Jenkins. All of the delegates wore outfits from Clarisse Designs for the opening numbers, while Jojo Bragais sponsored the shoes.
