In a post on its X (formerly Twitter) account, the NFL highlighted, “Patrick Mahomes converted two crucial third downs on the Chiefs’ game-winning drive. Clutch again.” However, one fan responded almost immediately, “yeah but you rigged it by not calling any holding etc.”
Another said, “Anyway, that Chiefs game was so rigged,” and a second supported it by saying, “This is the most fraudulent 12-1 team ever.” Another recalled the alleged fixing of Super Bowl LVIII, “Chiefs always get away with holding watch the Super Bowl clips.”
The officials received the most criticism, with one fan asking for an investigation. “I won’t say we didn’t benefit from calls but come on, investigate the refs. How was this not called holding on the RT or RG?” the fan demanded.

However, Chiefs Kingdom was not silent, with one fan saying, “Clutch again! All the haters will say it’s rigged, it’s luck, it’s black magic etc! Haters will always hate when a team is winning!
