In the past few months, they’ve traded in award shows and NFL games for more low-key date nights in NYC, a private Montana vacation, and, according to a new report, Taylor and Travis are enjoying “private time” before he returns to the Chiefs.
“They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoying it,” a source told People. “They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too.
It’s a special time for them.” It’s nice to hear that they’re making time for each other and other important people in their lives, especially in the wake of Ed Sheeran‘s revelation that even he only gets to see Taylor “four times a year.”
The source continued, telling People that Taylor and Travis are “very serious and in sync.” They added, “They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight.”
What does “private time” look like for (arguably) the world’s most famous couple? According to previous reporting from Page Six, it’s less glam, more chill. “They like to cuddle on the couch and watch movies, play board games, spend time with family, cook dinner together and just hang out,” the source told Page Six. “This is such a nice escape for them to finally be able to stay out of the limelight for a bit before they eventually have to get out in the public eye again due to their careers.”
Per the insider, as two professionals in the public eye, both Taylor and Travis are making the most of their time off. “This time away from the spotlight has been so refreshing for Taylor and Travis. They really cherish this time while they can because they know it can’t last forever.”
It will, in fact, end this summer, when Travis returns to the Chiefs and Taylor…drops Reputation (Taylor’s Version)??? (Okay, I might be getting ahead of myself, but a girl can dream!)
