Allison Holker Boss is still adjusting to life after loss as the one-year anniversary of her husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s death approaches.
The 35-year-old professional dancer reflected on her own experience with grief Sunday on Instagram, writing, “Grief never ends .. but every season of challenge has an expiration date. Keep believing and keep dancing through.”

Her message comes after the television personality sold the Los Angeles home that she shared with her late husband and their three children last month.
The home was originally listed for sale in October 2023 for $3.795 million and sold for $3.525 million, according to property records.
“Allison and their kids are coping as well as expected, but they miss Stephen daily. They are doing their best to move forward and try to heal,” a source told PEOPLE when the home went on the market this fall.

Located in the Encino neighborhood of L.A., the property is familiar to fans of the couple as Allison often shared videos on Instagram of her and Stephen, who died by suicide at age 40, dancing together in their home.
The couple, who were married for nine years, moved into the Encino property in 2019 with daughters Weslie, 15, and Zaia, 4, and son Maddox, 7.

In September, the family remembered Stephen on what would have been his 41st birthday.
“We honor our beautiful, sweet, kind and loving Stephen tWitch Laurel Boss. Forever on our hearts and minds carrying us, guiding us and lifting us,” Allison wrote.
Alongside photos of the family visiting Stephen’s gravesite, she continued, “We feel your presence every day and will forever be grateful for the beautiful times we shared together. We feel your arms wrapping around us and holding us up on this day. Happy birthday my love @sir_twitch_alot a day we will always celebrate the gift you were and still are to this world. We love you!”
