American singer Cassie Ventura has filed a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend,
producer and rapper Sean Combs, better known as P. Diddy.
The celebrities parted ways in 2018.
The lawsuit alleges that shortly before the end of their relationship, Combs broke into Cassie’s home and sexually assaulted her.
Accusations against P. Diddy
Cassie admitted that the rapper controlled and verbally abused her for over ten years. Additionally, he intentionally drugged, beat, and forced her into intimate acts with multiple men on demand. Furthermore, it is claimed that he recorded all of this on video.
“After many years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story and speak out on behalf of other women facing violence and cruelty in their relationships,” Cassie stated in the lawsuit filed in the Federal District Court in Manhattan.
The singer also revealed that her ex-lover demanded her to carry his gun in her purse and often behaved aggressively. The lawsuit alleges that he once hung one of Cassie’s friends on the 17th-floor balcony of a hotel.
The documents also describe how Combs became angry when Cassie began dating rapper Kid Cudi in early 2012. Diddy told Cassie that he would blow up Kid Cudi’s car.
P. Diddy’s reaction to the accusation
The rapper, whose net worth exceeds one billion dollars, categorically denies all the accusations. Over the past six months, Combs has been subjected to persistent demands from Ventura to pay $30 million under the threat of her writing a book about their relationship.
“The filing of a lawsuit permeated with baseless and outrageous lies is a goal to tarnish Combs’ reputation and obtain a payout,” noted the rapper’s lawyer.
