Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered an ankle injury against the Cleveland Browns and is week-to-week.
His ankle is not broken, and Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that injury is just ‘sore’, but Ian Rapoport of ESPN says that the fears are Mahomes has suffered a high ankle sprain, which could force him to miss time.
With the Pittsburgh Steelers facing the Chiefs in just nine days on Christmas, it leaves open the chance that Mahomes will miss the Chiefs game against the Steelers on Christmas. If that were to happen, Carson Wentz would start for the Chiefs.
