Priscilla Presley: Finds Comfort at Graceland – Still Feels Elvis’ Spirit
Elvis Presley’s spirit is still very much alive at Graceland Mansion, according to Priscilla Presley. She admits that when she is there; she feels his powerful presence in every room. Nearly five decades after Elvis’ passing, his former wife says she still feels very connected to the later King of Rock and Roll. She also admits that she still considers Graceland still her home.
Priscilla Presley states, “You feel his soul there. You really do. When I walk in, it’s like wow. It’s like the memories are there and all, but I do feel his spirit there. I truly feel his spirit there.” She adds “Listen, Graceland is my heart. I love Graceland. I love going. It’s like I never left.
“Whenever I go there, I feel it’s still my home too. I get memories like you can’t believe the kitchen. And when I walk in and see that dining room table, I can see us all sitting there and laughing and watching Johnny Carson show and having just group talks with him. It was special to him, special to me. I think when people go there to visit, you feel it.”

Priscilla Presley also reveals she enjoys being at Graceland Mansion because it helps her feel close to her late daughter. Sadly, Lisa Marie passed away last January at the age of 54 following cardiac arrest, which was caused by a small bowel obstruction.
Lisa Marie is Elvis and Priscilla’s only child together. She is buried alongside her late father and son, Benjamin Storm Keough, 27, who tragically died in 2020. Priscilla admits she has been dealing with a lot of loss over the past few years. But she finds much comfort in being at Graceland and talking with Presley family fans.
Following Lisa Marie’s death, Priscilla sued the estate of Lisa Marie Presley for control over Graceland. After months of legal battles, Lisa’s daughter Riley Keough and her grandmother Priscilla Presley resolved their lawsuit.
According to Rolling Stone, Priscilla Presley has agreed to the following terms, Priscilla is to receive a lump sum payment of one million dollars. Riley has also agreed that her grandmother will be permitted to be buried at Graceland. The burial location will be at the location closest to Elvis Presley without moving any existing gravesite. Priscilla also demanded that her son, Navarone Garibaldi, be permitted to participate in the memorial ceremony.
Mourning the Loss of the Presleys
The Sun reported that Priscilla Presley engaged with fans and answered their questions during her appearance at a Las Vegas casino. She reveals spoke this is the first time she has publicly acknowledged her fight to be laid to rest with her late husband.
When fans asked how she was doing since Lisa Marie’s death, she looked sadly at the ground and said, “I’m coping. I don’t know. I am doing okay every day it gets a little bit better… not fully.
“But, I don’t think I’ll ever get over it, but I’m trying really hard. And this is good for me, to be honest with you. It gets me out of my life, my thoughts, and being alone. This is good, talking and sharing and listening.”
