Guenther Steiner asserted that Lewis Hamilton could help Charles Leclerc as teammates at Ferrari next season.
Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc will get a new teammate in 2025 in the form of Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton is joining the Scuderia on a multi-year-deal.
This would inevitably create competition between the two drivers. However, former F1 team boss Guenther Steiner reckons that Leclerc will have the chance to learn from his world champion teammate.
Steiner claimed that Charles Leclerc should learn consistency from the seven-time world champion. As the former team boss highlighted that Lewis Hamilton rarely ever made mistakes.
Guenther Steiner asserted that Hamilton is a very complete driver who calculates every situation. The 39-year-old has tremendous experience in the sport with incredible success.
Although, the 59-year-old insisted that Leclerc was not behind the Briton when it came to driving. Steiner was convinced that Lewis Hamilton is simply a more complete driver than the 26-year-old. Guenther Steiner pointed out that the reason behind this was that Charles Leclerc had less experience than the 39-year-old.
Guenther Steiner claims Charles Leclerc could follow Lewis Hamilton’s success outside of F1
Lewis Hamilton is the biggest F1 personality globally. The seven-time world champion partakes in multiple endeavors including fashion and music. Hamilton recently launched his Dior collection and was announced as the co-chair for Met Gala 2025. Guenther Steiner insisted that the Briton learnt how to manage different projects during his career. Steiner reckoned that Charles Leclerc could consider following his future teammate’s footsteps in this regard.
Certainly, Leclerc has a lot he can learn from the seven-time world champion. The Monegasque driver needs to handle pressure situations better, something that Hamilton does really well. As such, fans would be looking forward to seeing how things pan out for the two at Ferrari next season.
