As Jason Kelce prepares to transition from NFL star to sports analyst, his wife Kylie Kelce is fully embracing the new chapter in their lives.
After 13 remarkable seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, the now-retired center is set to join ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” team this fall.
For Kylie, the shift is both exciting and inspiring as she watches her husband take on a fresh challenge.
In an exclusive interview, Kylie shared her thoughts on Jason’s new career path and her confidence in his success. “I am mostly excited to see Jason excel in a new position. I jokingly say it’s a pain in the butt that he’s good at everything, but I truly believe he’s going to tackle this new role and thrive,” she said. “He’s so analytical and has always had a deep understanding of the game, so I think it’s the perfect fit for him.”
This fall marks a new routine for the Kelce family as they navigate life with Jason off the field. While their daughters, Elliotte, 3½, and Wyatt, 4½, head back to school, Kylie returns to coaching field hockey at her local high school. “Coaching is a passion of mine,” Kylie explained. “It’s not just about skill and winning—it’s about building character, teamwork, and confidence in young athletes.”
Kylie also highlighted the importance of fostering a positive team culture. “We stress that your team is like your family. You don’t have to always agree, but respect and love are essential. These lessons go beyond sports—they prepare these kids for life,” she added.
Fresh off a memorable summer at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she and Jason enjoyed witnessing the growing excitement around women’s sports, Kylie is energized for what lies ahead. “Seeing women athletes get the recognition they deserve is amazing,” she said. “We met so many inspiring athletes, from field hockey stars to Olympic legends like Aly Raisman. It was a celebration of strength, confidence, and body positivity.”
As Jason embarks on his new journey at ESPN, Kylie is ready to cheer him on. “It’s a big shift from physically exerting yourself on the field to analyzing the game from a different perspective. But knowing Jason, he’s going to put in the work and make it look effortless. I’m just really excited to watch him thrive in this next chapter,” she concluded.
