Jason Kelce is finally breaking his silence on his favorite Taylor Swift song—literally!
The former Eagles center made the big reveal on the finale of the second season of his podcast, New Heights, with brother Travis Kelce, shortly after getting to see the “Karma” songstress’ viral Eras Tour in person for the first time during her first weekend in London.
While the two broke down the Chiefs star’s “unhinged” surprise appearance during The Tortured Poets Department era on night three—which Jason tragically missed seeing, as he was only in town for the first two shows—
the recently retired NFL legend interjected to admit that “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart”—the cinematic track that Travis got to be a part of—is his favorite out of the superstar’s discography.
The tight end called it the “perfect part” for him to appear on stage, and Jason agreed, revealing, “I think that’s turned into my favorite song,” before going on to give his own brief rendition of it.
“Even before this happened, that’s a great tune,” he added, referencing his brother’s star turn. “I think everybody can assimilate [sic] with [being in a bad mood] but you got to get up there and…do [it].”
It has similar vibes to one of Travis’ favorite songs, too, which Jason’s oldest daughter Wyatt shares: “Shake it Off.”
However, Travis’ absolute favorite, which also comes from the 1989 era, is “Blank Space.” In fact, his original plans for his Eras Tour debut were to join the dancers on stage on a bike during that song, though Swift ultimately vetoed that idea for one very specific reason.
