Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift, made a notable appearance at  Arrowhead Stadium, sitting in a box with her family, including her parents Scott and Andrea, and her brother Austin, along with WNBA star Caitlyn Jenner.

During the latest episode of the New Heights podcast released by the Kelsey brothers, Jason and Travis Kelce shared a humorous behind-the-scenes look at the dynamics of having their families in the stands, and how they worked hard to ensure Taylor and Caitlyn felt comfortable and at ease in the midst of the high-stakes game.

Jason opened the podcast by reflecting on the Chiefs’ impressive performance, before diving into the more personal moments of the evening.

Jason revealed that he had been in touch with his former teammate, Bo Allen, before the game. “Kelce called me up, and the tone was like when your dad calls you when you get in trouble for something,” Allen recalled, laughing. Jason’s message was clear: “You’re coming to this game, don’t make me regret this,” he said, indicating his concern for ensuring everything went smoothly, especially when Taylor Swift was present.

The former Eagles player, Bo Allen, humorously shared his reaction to Jason’s request: “I gave a salute and replied, ‘Yes sir.’” And when Allen arrived at the game with Jason, he crossed paths with Taylor Swift, who was sitting in the luxury box with her family and Caitlyn Jenner. Allen was taken aback by Swift’s graciousness. “She said I was funny and that she respected my commitment to making a joke or getting a laugh,” he explained. It was an unexpected compliment that left Allen surprised and appreciative.

In another memorable moment, Allen and Travis bonded over fashion when Travis, known for his bold style, gifted Allen a nearly $1,200 designer jacket. “He just gave it to me, so it’s pretty slick,” Allen said. “I was like, I don’t think it’s going to fit me, but Taylor said, ‘Yeah, it’ll definitely fit. Put it on.’” Travis, ever the generous spirit, had no intention of keeping the jacket after trying it on, offering it to Allen as a keepsake.

Meanwhile, Travis was back to doing what he does best on the field. Despite a relatively quiet regular season by his own standards, he shone in the Chiefs’ divisional round victory, catching seven passes for 117 yards and a key touchdown. Coach Andy Reid praised Kelsey’s resurgence, noting that the return of key players around him allowed for more offensive opportunities, something that was missing during the regular season.

As the Chiefs prepare for their showdown with the Buffalo Bills on January 26th, the added presence of Taylor Swift in the stands has become something of a good-luck charm for the team. The Chiefs have yet to lose a game that Swift has attended this season, with a perfect 7-0 record, adding an extra layer of excitement as the postseason continues.
