King Charles recalls when his Mom queen Elizabeth warned him about getting married to Camilla

King Charles III recently spoke about his mother, Queen Elizabeth II’s, decision to spend her final days at Balmoral,

reflecting on its significance during a speech to open the Scottish Parliament on September 30th.

Dressed in a traditional kilt, Charles remarked on Scotland’s special place in his family’s heart, emphasizing that his late mother particularly cherished her time at Balmoral.

He noted, “She chose to spend her final days there in the most beloved of settings.”

Princess Anne, the queen’s daughter, previously shared that the location was important to Elizabeth, stating, “We did try to persuade her that that shouldn’t be part of the decision-making process,” referencing the documentary *Unseen Queen*. The queen passed away in September 2022 at the age of 96, officially due to old age, but discussions about her health have persisted since her death.

In addition to Queen Elizabeth’s legacy, King Charles revealed earlier this year that he was diagnosed with an unidentified type of cancer. Following that, Kate Middleton announced in August that she had undergone preventative chemotherapy, which she has now completed. In a heartfelt statement on September 9th, Kate described the past nine months as “extremely difficult” for her family, emphasizing the need to navigate turbulent times and adapt to life’s unpredictable nature. She stated, “My current focus is doing everything I can to prevent cancer,” indicating her commitment to ongoing recovery and self-care.

Meanwhile, on October 1st, the royal family announced that Princess Beatrice and her husband, Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi, are expecting their second child together, with the couple expressing their joy through an Instagram post. The announcement was warmly received by both families, including King Charles.

Kate, who completed her chemotherapy earlier this year, shared insights into her cancer journey during the Trooping the Colour ceremony on June 15th, stating that it was complex and unpredictable, and emphasized the importance of humility in confronting personal vulnerabilities. She added that while she has finished treatment, her road to healing is still long, and she looks forward to gradually returning to her public duties and appearances alongside her husband, Prince William, and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The royal family is currently navigating significant health challenges and family milestones, with each member addressing their personal journeys while supporting one another through these experiences.
