Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton and his dog Roscoe have announced a special partnership with a healthy dog food brand Bramble. The 38-year-old British racing legend shared the news on his Instagram page.
Roscoe became a part of Hamilton’s family in 2013, along with Coco. However, the latter passed away in 2020 after suffering a heart attack. Since then, Hamilton transitioned Roscoe to a full vegan diet for a healthier lifestyle.
In the search for dog food he could carry during his travel, Hamilton came across a vet-formulated vegan brand, Bramble.
The Mercedes-AMG driver acknowledged seeing positive changes in Roscoe’s health after the switch to plant-based food.
As a result, Hamilton and Roscoe have partnered with the upcoming dog food brand to promote a healthier lifestyle for pet dogs around the world. The #44 driver shared about the same through an Instagram post.
“I’m excited to announce that Roscoe and I have teamed up with @bramblepets, the first 100% plant-based fresh food for dogs. Health is really important to me and those same standards apply when it comes to Roscoe. I’ve invested in Bramble because it meets those standards,” Hamilton commented in the caption.
“It’s made from clean ingredients, formulated by veterinary nutritionists, and has the science to back it up. Most importantly Roscoe loves it. His energy levels are higher, his coat is shinier and his skin is healthier. It’s like he’s a puppy again. I hope your dogs love it as much as my boy Roscoe does,” he added.
Bramble has also created Hamilton and Roscoe’s 4-Week Challenge, which encourages other dog owners to try the brand’s plant-based diet for their pets.
“Dey’s see’s him’s rollin’s” – Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes-AMG spiced up Roscoe’s Silverstone appearance this year with a ride-on Mercedes SUV
Much like Lewis Hamilton, Roscoe is often seen wearing fashionable outfits when traveling across different venues. Hamilton and Mercedes-AMG upped the 11-year-old bulldog’s style quotient with a special ride-on remote-controlled Mercedes SUV during his appearance at Silverstone this season.
The 7x world champion and the Brackley-based team jointly shared a few adorable images on Roscoe’s Instagram page.
“Dey’s see’s him’s rollin’s 🐶🚗 Roscoe’s annual Silverstone appearance with some extra Mercedes style” Mercedes-AMG F1 wrote in the caption.
Apart from interacting with the fans with Hamilton at the iconic circuit, Roscoe also met Ferrari star Charles Leclerc’s young pup Leo, a miniature long-haired dachshund. The duo interacted playfully for some time in the paddocks, while their pet parents watched over.
As for the 2024 season, Lewis Hamilton is currently placed sixth in the driver’s championship with 174 points. With six more races to go, he is 157 points behind the leader Max Verstappen. Hamilton is set to join Ferrari next season, alongside Leclerc.
