Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton and his bulldog Roscoe are one of the most iconic driver-pet duos in the world of motorsport. Roscoe was adopted by Hamilton in 2013 and is often seen in the paddock during European races.

Lewis Hamilton will join Ferrari in 2025 on a multi-year deal, departing Mercedes after 12 glorious years. Hamilton has been an advocate for veganism and has openly talked about his love for all forms of animal life.

In a viral video that surfaced through X, Hamilton can be seen hugging his dog affectionately in his home.

We can’t be adding races in other locations and continuing to ignore Africa, which the rest of the world just takes from. No one gives anything to Africa. There’s a huge amount of work that needs to be done there. I think a lot of the world that haven’t been there don’t realise how beautiful the place is, how vast it is. And probably they don’t even know what the countries are doing still to those places in terms of holding back.

Hamilton has urged Formula 1 to diversify its culture to unexplored countries and locations. The 39-year-old said the Grand Prix in Africa will be able to highlight its beauty and significance to the world as a whole.
