Today, at Dior Men’s autumn/winter 2026 show, Lewis Hamilton arrived looking every bit the prince of menswear.
The seven-time world champion pulled up to the house’s Avenue Montaigne atelier in a beautiful black coat. It came with wide, sculpted lapels, a fur-trimmed collar, and a slightly cropped cut that gave the whole thing a sharp, almost military vibe. The buttons were the real flex here: chunky gold hardware engraved with ornate, heraldic patterns, like they’d been swiped straight off a palace door.
Underneath, Hamilton kept things nice and clean with a crisp white dress shirt (sans tie). He also wore diamond cluster earrings from Briony Raymond, and a silky white cummerbund that wrapped around his waist and then trailed aaall the way down to the floor, swishing dramatically behind him as he walked. Extra? Yes. But very, very correct.
he understands clothes as performance – not in a costume-y way, but in a “this is how I’m feeling today” way. And part of it is that he’s one of the few athletes who treats fashion with the same seriousness he treats his sport. He doesn’t just show up in the latest look, he commits to it.
Plus, he’s changing the culture of the sport while he’s at it. In a 2024 interview with British GQ, he said: “There’s always been a real synergy between fashion and Formula 1. It was tough coming into the paddock while finding my own style. Recently, though, it’s been really cool to see other drivers coming out of their shells. They’ve obviously gone to their teams and said, ‘Hey, I want to wear my own stuff into the track.’”
Sure, plenty of famous dudes wear Dior, but very few look like they might one day inherit it.
