NFL star Travis Kelce showcased his skills at the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament in Lake Tahoe on Wednesday, July 10th.

Accompanied by his brother Jason, Travis Kelce appeared in a black T-shirt and hat, glowing with confidence after completing a great swing.

Having just returned from a reunion with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, in Amsterdam, Kelce seemed in high spirits.

In the most recent episode of the New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason, Travis admitted that his previous scores in the last four tournaments were “atrocious.

” However, that was before he won his third Super Bowl and started dating Swift. The Kansas City Chiefs clinched back-to-back Super Bowls in 2023 and 2024, adding to their 2020 victory.

“Last Sunday is typically me walking straight from the parking lot to the green, just hoping I get through it without passing out,” Kelce joked on the podcast. He mentioned that he usually stops keeping track of his score after the first two days of the tournament. This year, Jason Kelce will join the celebrity tournament for the first time since retiring from 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament attracts big names from professional sports, entertainment, and politics to Edgewood Tahoe in South Lake Tahoe. The tournament began on Wednesday with practice rounds and will run through Sunday.

Travis Kelce had some playful advice for his brother: “Just don’t feel bad if you hit somebody because they bought the ticket knowing it’s a bunch of amateurs out there trying to play golf.”

Travis, who has been linked to pop icon Taylor Swift, noted that his golf game might improve this year. “Maybe my shots will be more Swift,” he quipped. Travis was already in Europe supporting Swift’s Eras Tour and even made a surprise appearance as a performer during her June 23rd show at Wembley Stadium.

The tight end plans to remain in Europe as the tour continues to Amsterdam, Zurich, Milan, and Gelsenkirchen before the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp starts. Away from the football field, Travis Kelce and teammate Patrick Mahomes have been channeling their competitive drive through golf. On July 4th, the duo played while being over 4,300 miles away from Kansas City. Their golfing prowess was highlighted in June 2023 when they defeated Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in The Match exhibition golf challenge.

The duo’s golf game has garnered attention from notable figures, including 2024 US Open Champion Bryson DeChambeau. The two-time major tournament winner invited the Chiefs’ All-Pro duo for a round of golf after Mahomes commented on DeChambeau’s impressive bunker save that secured his title over Rory McIlroy.

Patrick Mahomes shared during his appearance on actor/comedian Rob Riggle’s podcast that he and his family will vacation through Europe before training camp starts. Mahomes also enjoyed watching the thrilling Carlos Alcaraz vs. Francis Tiafoe match at this year’s Wimbledon Championships.
