Kylie Kelce, wife of retired Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, recently took to TikTok to address rampant rumors about her pregnancy and to share a deeply personal experience about a previous miscarriage. Kylie and Jason Kelce are parents to three children: Wyatt, 4, Elliott, 3, and Bennett, 1.
Earlier this summer, Kylie made headlines for confronting a heckler at the Jersey Shore.
Now, she’s making waves again, this time to set the record straight about her family life. In a candid video posted on Friday, Kylie dispelled rumors about her being pregnant and opened up about her past miscarriage.
“I have kept my mouth shut on this for quite some time now, and my lack of filter is kicking in,” Kylie said in her TikTok video.
“We’re just going to nip this in the bud. I have had a number of articles written about me since the middle of last football season stating that I am pregnant. I’m not. I haven’t been pregnant since I gave birth to Benny, and she is almost a year and a half old.”
Kylie expressed her frustration with the insensitive nature of the speculation. “I cannot stand people writing such insensitive articles about such a sensitive topic. It really lights my fire,” she said.
In a heartfelt revelation, Kylie shared that she had a miscarriage before becoming pregnant with her eldest daughter, Wyatt. “I had a miscarriage before Wyatt. I went in for my 13-week ultrasound, and there was no heartbeat. So, I do not take getting pregnant or trying to get pregnant lightly, and I think that we need to just be in agreement that this is not a topic that anyone needs to be first on reporting. Let the parents say it when they are good and ready.”
The Kelce family has been in the public eye more than ever, thanks in part to Jason’s podcast with his brother, Travis Kelce, which showcases their dynamic personalities. Additionally, Amazon produced a documentary about Jason and Kylie’s lives, adding to their visibility. The spotlight has intensified with the news of Taylor Swift dating Travis Kelce.
Kylie further explained in the caption of her post that she had been congratulated in person multiple times and aggressively questioned by strangers about the pregnancy rumors. “I was DM’d by a random woman asking, ‘Did you have a miscarriage?’ because one of the news outlets that said I was pregnant doubled back and claimed I hadn’t announced it because I had had a miscarriage. Let’s do better.”
Kylie Kel’s openness and honesty serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of sensitivity and respect when discussing personal matters, especially those as delicate as pregnancy and miscarriage. The Kelce family continues to navigate their public lives with grace, setting an example for others on how to handle speculation and rumors.
