On July 8, 2025, French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, embarked on a state visit to the UK, where they were formally welcomed by the King and Queen of England.
King Charles III appeared dapper in a tailored, royal blue suit with a white-and-sky blue patterned tie and matching pocket square. The ensemble was subtly adorned with a violet boutonnière pinned to his lapel.
