Princess Catherine captivated royal watchers during the France state visit to the United Kingdom with a graceful Dior ensemble, but it was her flowing hair, not her fashion, that ignited a social media frenzy and fueled speculation about her health.
Princess Catherine, the Princess of Wales, stepped out in a romantic pale pink Dior ensemble for the official France state visit of President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte. She joined her husband, Prince William, alongside King Charles III and Queen Camilla, for the occasion.
The Princess wore a custom look by the French luxury fashion house Dior, featuring a tailored wool and silk blazer. She paired it with a pleated, tutu-like skirt in the same soft hue, overlaid with mesh for added texture and movement.

To complete her ensemble, she chose beige suede pumps, a straw hat adorned with a baby pink ribbon, pearl drop earrings once belonging to Princess Diana, and a three-strand pearl necklace from Queen Elizabeth II’s collection.
She also wore her iconic sapphire and diamond engagement ring from Prince William, which once also belonged to her late mother-in-law, Diana, Princess of Wales.
While fans were enamored with the Princess’ timeless style, many turned their attention to her hairstyle, sparking speculation online.
Some commenters, however, pushed back on the criticism with admiration. “Princess Catherine’s hair is simply stunning. Great outfit too,” one person posted, while another wrote, “She has such gorgeous hair!!! [sic]”
A more cynical remark also circulated online. “Crazy how that brutal chemo didn’t cost her a single strand,” one netizen commented, hinting at disbelief regarding her appearance amid her cancer treatment.
Despite the speculation on Princess Catherine’s hair, one fan couldn’t help but admire the couple’s overall appearance during the visit. “I think they both look fantastic! Her hair, oh gosh. Also, I love that fabric texture of the skirt. Keeps it from looking like a business suit. IMO, [sic]” the fan wrote.
