Sandra Bullock has been living with the grief of losing her longtime partner,
Bryan Randall. The “Practical Magic” actress tragically said goodbye to her love in August.
Randall died at the age of 57 following a private battle with ALS.
Now, Bullock is trying to pick up the pieces and carrying on.
Sandra Bullock is trying to stay strong for her kids
Bullock is reportedly working hard to keep her head up and stay strong for the sake of her two children, Louis, 13 and Laila, 11. Although the kids are Bullock’s adopted children, Randall was said to be a father to them.
“She’s struggling to stay strong and picking up the pieces for her children,” a source revealed, per OK! Magazine. “The last few years have been incredibly stressful and heartbreaking for her — and Sandra hasn’t yet fully processed everything — but she’s slowly learning to manage her grief,” the insider added.
Bullock allegedly has herself and the kids in therapy to help them deal with the tremendous loss of Randall. The death has her struggling. However, she’s putting her children first. “They’re all in therapy, and Sandra encourages them to talk about Bryan often, to keep his memory alive,” the insider dished.
Sandra is focused on family during this difficult time
Meanwhile, the “Speed” star has been laying low as she works through her grief. However, she’s said to appreciate the love and support her fans have offered her.
“It’s still very raw. She appreciates all the love from fans and friends, but right now her focus is on her family,” the informant revealed, adding that Bullock and the kids are facing their first holiday season without Randall by their sides.
Bullock and her children reportedly believe that Randall is in a better place and believe that he’s looking out for them. However, a new normal has set in for the family.
Sandra Bullock and Bryan Randall’s beautiful love story
Bullock met Randall in 2015 when she commissioned him to take photos of her son’s birthday party. The two sparked a friendship that later turned to love. The pair managed to stay out of the spotlight during their relationship. However, he became a devoted father to Bullock’s two children.
During an interview on “Red Table Talk,” Bullock called Randall the love of her life. She also revealed that she felt like they were married although that wasn’t the case in a legal sense. During Randall’s ALS battle, Bullock reportedly became his caretaker. “She was completely devoted to him,” a source revealed.
Sandra Bullock has yet to speak out about the death of Bryan Randall publicly. However, the actress has been candid about her life in the past. When and if she feels like the time is right, she may open up about her loss.
