When one thinks of Pamela Anderson, it’s virtually impossible not to imagine her as the bombshell model

who graced Playboy magazine and starred as the irresistible C.J. Parker on Baywatch.

Now aged 55, Anderson’s spent decades in the limelight, achieving great success and managing to stay relevant in an industry that’s notoriously fickle and unquestionably tough.

Yet despite her iconic looks, the beautiful blonde looked virtually unrecognizable when she took to a runway show in Miami, Florida for BOSS.

Sporting an altogether more toned down look than fans are used to seeing, Anderson drew comments from several quarters online as she led models down the runway on Wednesday night …

In just a matter of years, Pamela Anderson went from a waitress and cheerleader in high school to one of the most well-known actresses in the world.

The stunning Canadian native has been through plenty in her life, from being a star celebrity actress and Playboy model to messy divorces and a tragic miscarriage.

Her rise to fame started in the nineties and simply never stopped. She’s now 55 years of age and still wows wherever she goes.

Much of her fame is directly linked to her role in Baywatch, at the time one of the most viewed TV series in the world. Her character C.J Parker became a household name, and few will forget the now-iconic red bathing suit.

Indeed, it may have been thirty years since she first ran down the beach, gaining admirers the world over, but Pamela remains a distinguished figure in entertainment.

Which is perhaps why it’s so fascinating to see her change her look …

As per the Daily Mirror, the model walked the runway on Wednesday night at a show in Miami for BOSS, ditching her traditionally voluminous bleach-blonde hair, dark smokey eyes and nude lipstick for a far more subtle approach.

Pamela featured alongside the likes of supermodel Naomi Campbell, singer Demi Lovato and DJ Khaled on the evening.

For the event, Anderson wore her signature hair tied up in a messy bun, donning a grey blazer, semi-sheer trousers and nude patent pumps. It’s not the sort of look folk usually associate with her, but it did the job in creating a buzz, that’s for sure.

The model-come-actress recently opened up to Entertainment Tonight Canada about her struggles with confidence in the past, particularly when she was first making it big.

“I hated the way I looked, I hated everything,” Anderson said.

“I was so shy, and I always thought everybody was pretty, and I just didn’t have that confidence or self-confidence.”

Interestingly, she also revealed that her dream as a child was never to pursue modeling. Instead, she saw herself becoming a nun or librarian before achieving fame through Playboy.
