Travis Kelce has finally returned to Kansas City after his flight was delayed due to bad weather, and he’s expected to reunite with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, right after filming for his new podcast.
As the Chiefs enjoy a long break, fans are buzzing with excitement over some romantic clues that have recently surfaced about the couple’s relationship—especially the possibility that they were connected long before Taylor’s appearance at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer Travis on.
Earlier this week, fans uncovered some videos of Travis shopping at a luxury store on Franklin Street, which happens to be located right next to Taylor’s mansion.
In the videos, Travis is seen picking out Christmas candles, clothes, and accessories, and it only took him about a minute to walk straight into Taylor’s garage after leaving the store.
What fans didn’t know, however, is that this luxury store has been a favorite spot of Travis’s for years, even before he and Taylor became a couple.
In fact, photos from 2017 surfaced showing the NFL star posing in jeans right outside Taylor’s house. Fans have started to believe that the two may have crossed paths before, with some joking that it was “fate” that brought them together. Even Travis himself has hinted at the idea that their connection was meant to be.
As for their current relationship, Taylor Swift has been an unwavering supporter of Travis Kelce all season. While the “Anti-Hero” singer didn’t attend the Chiefs’ final game of the season against the Denver Broncos on Sunday (in which Travis also didn’t play), she has made it a point to watch as many Chiefs games as possible at Arrowhead Stadium. Taylor’s loyal fans, also known as Swifties, have followed suit, rallying behind Travis in full force.
One recent example of Swifties’ dedication is their overwhelming support for Travis in the Walter Payton Man of the Year charity challenge. This challenge awards the winner a $35,000 donation to a charity of their choice, and the Chiefs have been encouraging fans to vote for Travis. Thanks to the swift action from Swift’s fan base, Travis has been leading the polls, with his supporters flooding social media with hashtags and votes. On Monday, the Chiefs reminded fans that it was the last day to vote, and Swifties did not hesitate to respond.
By Sunday, the NFL announced that Travis was at the top of the leaderboard, ahead of Mike Evans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dion Dawkins of the Buffalo Bills. With Taylor’s fanbase backing him up, it seems almost certain that Travis will emerge as the runaway winner of the charity challenge.
From their adorable shopping trips near Taylor’s home to their growing support for each other in public and behind the scenes, Travis and Taylor’s relationship continues to captivate fans—and it seems like they’re destined for even more sweet moments in the future.
