Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is stepping into a new role, and his girlfriend, pop sensation Taylor Swift, is right by his side to cheer him on.

The 34-year-old NFL star has taken on the role of host for Prime Video’s new game show, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, a spin-off from the popular 2007 series Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?.

Taylor Swift Visits Set

Travis Kelce’s hosting debut has already generated buzz, not just for his skills but also for the star-studded support he’s receiving.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais, one of the celebrity contestants on the show, confirmed that Swift made a visit to the set to support her boyfriend.

“She did come on set,” Beauvais, 57, told Entertainment Tonight. “Not the day that I was there, but she came. I think it’s really sweet.”

Kelce Impresses as a Host

Despite initial doubts about how Kelce would handle the hosting duties, Beauvais had nothing but praise for the NFL champion’s performance. “He was great. He was fantastic,” she said, describing him as a natural on the game show stage. “I wasn’t sure, but he didn’t overdo it. He didn’t undersell it. He was himself, he had fun, and it was great.”

The Bravo star also noted that Kelce’s presence didn’t go unnoticed by others on set. “My glam team was like, ‘Oh my God, he’s fine.’ Everyone on set was like, ‘He’s so fine,’” Beauvais recalled with a laugh, before quickly adding, “I don’t want the Swifties coming for me, though!”

A Relationship of Mutual Support

Swift’s appearance on set is just the latest example of how the couple makes an effort to support each other, even with their demanding schedules. The pair have been seen trading rounds of support, with Swift attending 13 of Kelce’s NFL games, including the Super Bowl. In turn, Kelce has made it to 14 of Swift’s Eras Tour stops, including a memorable moment when he joined her on stage at Wembley Stadium in London.

A source told People magazine that Kelce was thrilled to join Swift on stage, adding that the couple “loved being on stage together” and that it was “one of her tour highlights.”

Kelce was confirmed as the host of Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? in April and expressed his excitement about the new venture in a statement. “I’m so excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons with this hosting gig,” he said. “The original show was a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen will definitely be entertaining.”

Kelce even joked about his new role, adding, “I’m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up.”
