After spending some romantic days with Taylor Swift in Amsterdam, NFL star Travis Kelce has been making headlines with his globe-trotting and heartwarming gestures.
Returning to the United States for a golf tournament at Lake Tahoe, Kelce didn’t stay long before flying to Milan to reunite with his superstar girlfriend.
During a recent interview with NBC, Kelce, who has seen his fame soar since dating Swift, shared how transformative this year has been for him. “This past year with Taylor has been the best of my life.
It’s been the most fun year of my life, I can definitely say that,” Kelce stated.
Reflecting on his journey, he added, “I thought the peak of my life was winning the Super Bowl and playing against my brother, but it just keeps getting better and better. Who knows what’s next? If I get another chance to win, that would be amazing.”
Currently making his sixth appearance in the American Century Championship (ACC) in Lake Tahoe, Kelce feels privileged to be invited back each year. He humorously credited his return to karaoke contests rather than his golfing prowess, saying, “It must be those karaoke contests that keep me coming back because it’s definitely not my golf.” Despite his self-deprecating humor, Kelce relished the opportunity to play with his brother, Jason Kelce, and friends like The Miz, forming a tight-knit Cleveland crew that enjoys the event’s vibrant atmosphere.
Looking ahead to the NFL season, Kelce is focused on helping the Kansas City Chiefs achieve a historic feat: winning three straight Super Bowls. “We’ve got the players to do it,” he said confidently. “We have Xaven Worthy, Mays Brown, and some real talent. We have great coaches and a front office that brings it all together. We have everything we need in Kansas City.”
Kelce emphasized the importance of continually reshaping and improving the team, especially during training camp in St. Joseph, Missouri. “You have to revamp the team every year and reshape it. Hopefully, at training camp, we can get a head start on that. As you saw last year, we got better as the season went on. It’s going to be a long journey, but if we get the chance, I’m excited to get back into football. It’s been a crazy off-season, and I’m ready to get back to work.”
Meanwhile, his brother Jason Kelce shone on the golf course, recording the longest drive on the par-five hole number 16 at Edgewood Tahoe Resort with an impressive distance of 322 yards. For this achievement, Jason will receive $5,000 to donate to a charity of his choice.
As Travis Kelce balances love, sport, and camaraderie, his fans eagerly await the upcoming NFL season, hoping for more memorable moments from the charismatic tight end.
