Travis Kelce has had an eventful summer traveling with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, but now it’s time to shift gears and get back to work.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end was spotted by NFL insiders in a Kansas City parking lot on the morning of Sunday, July 21st, preparing to head to the Chiefs’ training camp.
Despite the jet lag from his recent European travels, Kelce appeared casual and relaxed as he hopped into his black SUV.
He sported a gray t-shirt and shorts, along with red sportswear adorned with the Chiefs’ logo. Completing his laid-back look, Kelce wore bright white Nike socks and three-tone running shoes.
Kelce, 34, has been making the most of his off-season, traveling worldwide to spend quality time with Swift during her Eras Tour. Their adventures took them to destinations like Singapore, Australia, the UK, the Netherlands, and most recently, Germany. Despite his globetrotting, Kelce returned in time to join his teammates at the Chiefs’ training camp in St. Joseph.
Back at camp, Kelce reunited with head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes, ready to focus on the upcoming NFL season. The tight end, who already boasts three Super Bowl rings, set high expectations for the team, aiming for a fourth Super Bowl victory. “The goal is always to get a third win,” Kelce declared during the Vince Lombardi Awards. “Trust me, baby, we’ll be here next year.”
Kelce’s commitment to the Chiefs means he will be with the team until at least February if they reach the Super Bowl for a third straight season. Meanwhile, Swift’s Eras Tour is set to conclude on December 8th, allowing her to support Kelce through the end of the regular season and potentially the playoffs.
While there have been concerns about how Kelce’s off-field lifestyle might affect his performance, head coach Andy Reid remains confident in his professionalism. “I’m fine with that as long as they’re ready to play,” Reid told reporters when asked about the lifestyles of Kelce and Mahomes.
With the Chiefs aiming for another historic season, all eyes will be on Travis Kelce as he balances his high-profile relationship with his dedication to football. Fans are eager to see if the Chiefs can achieve their goal of a third consecutive Super Bowl appearance and a fourth championship win.
