Travis Kelce & Mahomes reveal Details about their Steakhouse: ‘We Don’t Want To Make It Too Upscale’

Chiefs superstars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have revealed exciting plans for their latest venture: a luxury steakhouse called “1587 Prime,” set to open in Kansas City in 2025.

While both players are known for their on-field chemistry, the duo is now joining forces in the restaurant business, aiming to create a destination that brings people together in the heart of the city.

“We’ve been working on this for a while,” Mahomes said in a video interview with Fox 4 Kansas City. “We’re always together, always going out to restaurants, and we just love the idea of creating a place that brings people together.

Kansas City is home, and we want to give back to the community in a way that reflects that.”Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes Are Opening Up a New Restaurant

The new restaurant, which will operate under the Noble 33 umbrella—known for upscale establishments like Toca Madera and Sparrow Italia—will offer a luxurious experience. But Mahomes and Kelce are making it clear that 1587 Prime will remain accessible to everyone.

In a lighthearted moment, a reporter jokingly asked if the menu would feature $15 items. Mahomes quickly responded, “I’m sure there will be some things on there that will be $15. We’ve really thought about it, and we don’t want to make it too upscale or too high-priced for everyone to enjoy. We want it to feel like a place where Kansas City can call it home.”

As for what fans can expect on the menu, Mahomes teased a few highlights. “There are two things I can promise: ketchup, because it’s my favorite, and an Andy Reid cheeseburger,” he said with a smile, referencing the Chiefs’ beloved head coach who famously celebrated the team’s Super Bowl victory with a burger. “That’s for sure going to be on the menu.”

Mahomes added that the restaurant’s atmosphere will offer a perfect post-game spot for Chiefs fans. “Hopefully, we can win some games at Arrowhead Stadium, and then we can go over, have a few drinks, and enjoy some great food.”

With the announcement of 1587 Prime, Mahomes and Kelce continue to deepen their ties to Kansas City, both on and off the field. The duo’s new restaurant is poised to become a beloved fixture in the local community, bringing together fans, families, and food lovers alike.
