During the season three premiere of the New Heights podcast, which Travis co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, the NFL star shared some insights into his latest facial hair transformation, much to the delight of listeners.

As the brothers kicked off the new season, Jason Kelce, who retired from the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this year,

pointed out that his younger brother had made some changes to his appearance during the Chiefs’ training camp. “I lost a little bit of my beard,” Jason, 36, remarked, leading to a discussion about Travis’s new look.

Travis, 34, humorously explained that he had gone for the “Andy Reid special,” a nod to the Chiefs’ legendary head coach known for his iconic mustache. Typically sporting a full beard, Travis decided to shave it off, opting instead for a clean-shaven face with a full mustache, mimicking Reid’s signature style. The change, however, was met with approval not just from fans but from his girlfriend as well.

“Taylor loves the mustache,” Travis revealed during the podcast, adding that Swift wants him to keep it the way it is. This playful endorsement from Swift adds another layer of charm to the NFL star’s new look. Jason also complimented his brother’s mustache, noting that it “looks good” and “clean.”

Despite the change in facial hair, Travis has kept his hair longer, explaining that he was inspired by a character with a mustache to grow it out. “I’ve changed,” he said. “I don’t have a crew cut. I’m not a super soldier.” The new look appears to be part of a broader effort by Travis to keep things light and fun during the grueling training camp period.
