Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce wasted no time in getting back into peak form at training camp despite a whirlwind offseason spent with pop superstar Taylor Swift.
The 34-year-old NFL star followed Swift across Europe on her Eras Tour, even making a surprise appearance on stage at London’s Wembley Stadium.
However, the transition from concert venues to the football field seemed seamless for Kelce as he returned to Kansas City’s training camp on Sunday.

Kelce and Swift’s summer together was reportedly filled with bittersweet moments, with PEOPLE magazine noting that the couple cherished their time before the NFL season called Kelce back to his professional commitments. Despite this, Kelce demonstrated his unwavering focus and athleticism almost immediately upon his return to the field.

A viral clip on social media captured Kelce executing an impressive juggling catch off a precise pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The footage highlighted Kelce’s exceptional skills and his readiness for the upcoming season. In another clip, Kelce, wearing his trademark preseason mustache, showed off some dance moves, signaling his high spirits and camaraderie with teammates.

ESPN host Pat McAfee praised Kelce’s ability to seamlessly switch from his high-profile offseason to football, stating on his show: “He’s just had an incredible offseason, literally taking over the entire globe. Shows up looking like that [with a mustache], then he’s scoring touchdowns, outrunning everybody. He’ll be doing that until he’s 65 years old. That is why he’s the greatest tight end of all-time whenever it’s all said and done. You look at his stats, you look what he’s accomplished.”

Despite his busy schedule, which included filming the TV show “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” and Ryan Murphy’s upcoming horror series “Grotesquerie,” Kelce remains dedicated to his team. An insider told PEOPLE, “His team and the Chiefs remain a top priority,” as the Chiefs prepare for a potential third consecutive Super Bowl victory.
Kansas City, the defending Super Bowl champions, will hold open practices at Missouri Western State University in Saint Joseph, building up to their first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on August 15. The Chiefs’ title defense begins on September 5 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift continues her Eras Tour, with upcoming performances in Hamburg and Munich before heading to Poland. As Kelce and Swift navigate their demanding careers, their ability to support each other’s professional endeavors continues to capture public admiration.
